Tina Conde is a dedicated public servant, nonprofit founder, and community advocate proudly serving as a City Councilmember for Avondale, Arizona. With over two decades of professional and volunteer leadership experience, she has built a reputation for collaborative problem-solving, compassionate service, and a strong commitment to strengthening families and neighborhoods.

Councilmember Conde currently serves on numerous civic, nonprofit, and regional initiatives. She is a board member of Women Fulfilling Purpose Leadership Academy and Friends of the Southwest Family Advocacy Center, a commissioned leader at Skyway Church, Co-Chair of the Avondale Interfaith Partnership, and a member of the Community Initiatives Coordinating Committee for the Maricopa Association of Governments. She also serves on the Avondale City Council Contributions Assistance Program Subcommittee, helping steward public resources toward programs that improve quality of life for residents.

Her previous civic involvement includes service on the Avondale Neighborhood & Family Services Commission and the Avondale Municipal Art Committee. She has volunteered with the A New Leaf Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, A New Leaf West Valley Advisory Committee, and the Agua Fria Food & Clothing Bank. She is also a graduate of both the Avondale Citizens Leadership Academy and the Avondale Citizen Police Academy, reflecting her long-standing commitment to public safety awareness, civic education, and resident engagement.

Professionally, Councilmember Conde has worked as a licensed Realtor since 2002, giving her extensive knowledge of housing stability, economic mobility, and community development. Motivated by the housing challenges facing vulnerable populations, she founded Ascend Housing Resource in 2014, a nonprofit organization that provides transitional housing opportunities for individuals and families who do not qualify for traditional housing programs. In 2015, the organization was honored with the Community Star Award from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Faith & Community Partnerships.

Her leadership and service have earned statewide recognition. In 2024, she was named Arizona Politics & Community Builder of the Year by Be Well Magazine for her commitment to bridging government, faith, and nonprofit sectors to meet community needs.

Since 2009, Councilmember Conde has called Avondale home. She values family deeply and enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters, and two grandchildren. Her public service is grounded in the belief that strong communities are built through collaboration, opportunity, and care for one another
