The Federal Transit Administration has afforded protection for the public against discrimination through Title VI.  View the Title VI Circular.  Residents are able to contact this office directly to file any Title VI or discrimination complaints.  Avondale is a sub-recipient to Phoenix and therefore follows the City of Phoenix complaint process on Title VI issues.  Complaint forms, Title VI procedures and the Title VI notice can all be found in the City of Avondale Title VI Implementation Plan

The City of Avondale operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, or national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the City of Avondale.
