The City of Avondale Streets Maintenance Division repairs and maintains City roadways, sidewalks, and right-of-way.
Services that fall under this division also include:

• Street sweeping: Bi-monthly service per subdivision, bi-weekly service of arterial (main) roadways, by request to address hazards or debris in the roadway.
• Maintenance of the landscape within the medians
• Pre-made sandbags: Prepared and distributed to Fire Stations during monsoon season or forecasted heavy rain patterns.
• Weed abatement on City property (not private property)
• Inspection of safety concerns on City right-of-way
• Clean up services on City property: Removal of littler, trash, illegally dumped items, debris from vehicle accidents or storm events.
