 **COVID-19 Response**   The following official announcements have been made by the city in regards to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus)   In an effort to minimize the visits to City Hall, please use our online services for paying your water bill  https://ubill.avondale.org/

Avondale is following guidance provided by the state Governor’s Executive Orders: https://azgovernor.gov/executive-orders. Effective Sunday, June 21, 2020 the wearing of face coverings by employees and customers will be required in all city facilities,  retail establishments, convenience stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, gyms, indoor sports or activity facilities, and medical offices. Additionally, these businesses will be required to post notice of these requirements at their entrances. (see more: COVID-19 Response)

Hours & Location:

The Property Room is open Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  At this time the property releases are by appointment only, walk up service is not available . The Avondale Police Department Property & Evidence Unit located at 11485 W. Civic Center Drive, Avondale, AZ 85323 

 

Impounded Property Releases:

Property is released by appointment during regular business hours, by appointment only. Please call 623-333-7004 to make an appointment.

The owner of the property must come in person to pick up the property and provide a valid government issued photo ID.

If the owner cannot come in, they must provide a notarized letter listing both the assigned individual’s name and the report number.

Firearm releases are done by appointment only to allow time for a background check to be completed.

Items held as evidence can only be released with property notification from the case officer.  For more information please contact the case officer or the Property Room at 623-333-7004.
