Registration

Registration for Avondale Youth Soccer League opens on April 14 and closes on September 10. Spots are limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Register online or in person Monday-Thursday 7 am - 6 pm at Avondale City Hall located at 11465 W Civic Center Dr, Avondale, AZ, 85323.

•  5-6 (6U League)
• 7-8 (8U League)
• 9-10 (10U League)
• 11-12 (12U League)

Ready for your little one to play before 5 years old? Check out our Soccer Tots Program for ages 1.5-5 lead by Skyhawks Sports Academy.

Program Fees 

• 6U and 8U Divisions
  • Early Registration Deadline (August 11): $70
  • Late Registration (August 12 – September 10): $75
• 10U and 12U Divisions
  • Early Registration Deadline (August 11): $75
  • Late Registration (August 12 – September 10): $80

Practice Fields

Practices are held Monday through Friday between 5–9 pm at Friendship Park. Specific practice days and times are selected by the volunteer head coach and will be shared with families after the Parent/Coaches Meeting.

Game Fields

Games are played on Saturday mornings at Friendship Park, with the first game scheduled for October 4. All divisions will play a total of seven games per season.

Our volunteer coaches play a vital role in the Avondale Youth Soccer League, guiding practices, supporting skill development, and helping each player learn the fundamentals of the game. Coaches create a positive, encouraging environment where kids gain confidence, build teamwork, and enjoy every moment on the field. Volunteering is a rewarding way to connect with the community, make a difference in a child’s soccer experience, and share your love of the game.

• Picture Day: November 15
• Last Game: November 22
• End of Season Party:  Team specific, ask your Coach!

Players receive a team jersey and medal as part of registration. Families should provide shorts, socks, shin guards, cleats, and a water bottle. All players are encouraged to bring their own size-appropriate soccer ball for practice, but the City will provide soccer balls to coaches.  Volunteer coaches are provided practice equipment for their team.
