***COVID-19 UPDATE*** The City of Avondale, in an effort to further prevent the spread of the coronavirus and in response to Governor Doug Ducey's "Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected" Executive Order, will be closing various amenities at all public parks beginning at 6 AM on Wednesday, April 1st. These amenities include: playgrounds, Festival Fields Skate Park, dog parks, baseball/softball fields, basketball courts, volleyball courts, pickleball courts, tennis courts and drinking fountains. Avondale Police and Park Rangers will be enforcing these restrictions. All open spaces, trails, walking paths and restrooms will be open for public use from 6 AM to 7 PM. Please note the reduced operating hours. Social and physical distancing guidelines recommended by the CDC still apply in these areas.
