This level of sponsorship is ideal for local small businesses or organizations looking to participate and connect with attendees affordably. 

An In-Kind Sponsor provides support through other means, like goods and services, instead of cash. 

The sponsor level benefits are dependent on the fair-market value of the donated goods and services. 

At minimum, In-Kind Sponsors receive the following benefits: 

• On-site booth
• Verbal or stage acknowledgement
• Text/ logo recognition on City website

Sponsorship Process

1. Review sponsorship levels and benefits packet to find programs and events that align with your organization. If you're not sure, skip to step 2 and we will assist you in your selection based on your goals. 
2. Send us an email at activeavondale@avondaleaz.gov of what programs/events you are interested in supporting. If you know the sponsorship level you are interested in, mention that here too!
3. A member of the Parks, Recreation & Libraries team will reach out to you to discuss your sponsorship and benefits. This person will be your department representative. 
4. An agreement will be created and routed to you for signature. 
5. Funds/ donations are due. 
6. Marketing with your text/ logo are created. 
7. Your Parks, Recreation & Libraries representative will keep you updated on marketing, event details, and agreement status throughout the process. They are available by phone or email Monday - Thursday 7 am - 6 pm leading up to the event. 
8. Large scale and non-registered events post FAQ's on social media a few days prior to event commencement. Registered events send out information via email.  Any specific information about your program/ event, including booth-placement and other key details, is sent to you 10 days in advance.
