Avondale Rec Camps

Adventure doesn't take a break — and neither do we. Avondale Rec Camps give kids a safe, fun, and action-packed experience during every school break throughout the year. Whether it's summer, fall, winter, or spring, there's always something exciting happening at Mountain View Community Center.

Campers in grades 1–8 enjoy a rotating mix of arts and crafts, field trips, aquatics, games, esports, and special guest activities — all led by energetic, caring Recreation staff who make every day memorable. Our newly renovated Mountain View Community Center provides the perfect home base, complete with a game room, Esports room, and plenty of space to explore, create, and connect with friends.

Our camp sessions include:

• Summer Rec Camp — Multiple two-week sessions running June through late July, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Fall Break Camp — A fun-filled week of activities during the fall school break
• Winter Break Camp — Keep the holiday energy going with games, crafts, and adventures
• Spring Break Camp — A full week of programming to kick off the spring season right

All camps are held at the Mountain View Community Center, 1007 S. 3rd St., Avondale, AZ. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
