Avondale Senior Services Logo- More than Just Bingo

Program Eligibility:
  • Seniors ages 60+

  • Seniors ages 50-59 who participate in an activity

  • Adults under 50 with proof of disability

Program hours:  
  • Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm 

  • Friday: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Lunch Program hours:
  • Daily Lunch Monday-Friday: 12:00pm to 12:30pm

Supplemental Food Programs

Supplemental Food Programs are available to the community through St. Mary's Food Bank.  Commodities are available on the 1st Monday of the month, and Mobile Pantry is available on the 2nd Thursday, 3rd Wednesday, or 4th Thursday of the month.  Food distribution will begin at 8am on each day.

  • Transportation Program - Transportation may be available to and from the Avondale Senior Center on a donation only basis.

  • Home Delivered Meals- Avondale Senior Center provides meals on wheels to those that qualify.  To become pre-certified through Area Agency on Aging, please call the Senior Help Line at 602-264-4357.  Private pay meals may be available for a fee for those who do not qualify and live within boundaries.
