The City of Avondale actively supports and concentrates revitalization efforts in four target neighborhoods; Cashion, Historic Avondale, Las Ligas, and Rio Vista.  These charming historic neighborhoods are located in the southern region of the City.  City departments and external partnering agencies work together to encourage new investment and reinvestment on commercial, residential, and other redevelopment initiatives in these core areas.  The Historic Area can be viewed in the Historic Area map in a .pdf format.
