RAVE is YOUR Avondale Community Guide and the Official Publication of the City of Avondale

In this issue of the RAVE Review, we’re putting the spotlight on The BLVD, Avondale’s signature mixed-use entertainment district.

Over the past decade, The BLVD has grown into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly destination that includes four hotels, four multifamily housing developments, and more than 23 retail and restaurant establishments. A major attraction at The BLVD— the American Sports Centers Avondale at the Randall McDaniel Sports Complex —welcomes more than 500,000 visitors each year.

And there’s more to come! The City of Avondale has selected a master developer, Blueprints Capital, for three parcels within The BLVD’s Park Avenue District, who will seek to bring in a mix of dining, shopping, and entertainment attractions, complementing public amenities such as performance space, walkable paths and gathering areas.
