The City of Avondale Information Technology (IT) Department supports the community through applied use of technology in municipal services. By working together, City departments and IT make community services more responsive, efficient, and secure.

City staffs readily engage the IT function with smart ideas for tools and process improvements at the line level. And departments work together every month to prioritize and resource technology initiatives that will benefit the City the most. The City of Avondale Information Technology Department consists of 16 IT professionals, plus two technology liaisons allocated to key departments. Specific service areas include:
