Avondale is following guidance provided by the state Governor’s Executive Orders: https://azgovernor.gov/executive-orders.Effective Sunday, June 21, 2020 the wearing of face coverings by employees and customers will be required in all city facilities, retail establishments, convenience stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, gyms, indoor sports or activity facilities, and medical offices. Additionally, these businesses will be required to post notice of these requirements at their entrances. (see more: COVID-19 Response)
All water and sewer charges will continue to be the responsibility of the account holder until the City is notified in writing to close the account and stop service.
The OFF Request must be a written request submitted via New! Online OFF Request, fax, email , mail, or in person at the One Stop Shop area at Avondale City Hall.

Any person who desires to discontinue the use of water shall file written notice with the city clerk at least three (3) days in advance of intended termination of service. Responsibility for water consumed extends to the time of departure or to the time specified for departure, whichever occurs last. (Code 1971, § 16-4-1)
