All water and sewer charges will continue to be the responsibility of the account holder until the City is notified in writing to close the account and stop service.
The OFF Request must be a written request submitted via Online OFF Request, fax, email, mail, or in person at the One Stop Shop area at Avondale City Hall. Customers can generally expect their deposit refund within 30 days.

Any person who desires to discontinue the use of water shall file written notice with the city clerk at least three (3) days in advance of intended termination of service. Responsibility for water consumed extends to the time of departure or to the time specified for departure, whichever occurs last. (Code 1971, § 16-4-1)
