The City of Avondale's user-friendly online bill pay portal provides beneficial features that allow customers to view and pay bills, schedule payments, set it and forget it with AutoPay, signup for paperless, and more. It’s simple, safe, and secure!

Payment Updates - Effective June 1, 2026

Beginning June 1, 2026, a convenience fee will be applied to payments made by credit card. This includes AutoPay, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. Online credit and debit card payments will be assessed 2.95% of the transaction amount (minimum fee of $2.95). In-person credit card payments will be assessed 3.5% of the transaction amount.

There is no fee for payments made by cash, check, ACH/e-check or in-person debit cards (with PIN). ACH payments can be made online by visiting: www.invoicecloud.com/avondaleaz

 Additional Payment Options

  • Mail – make check payable to City of Avondale, no starter checks or cash.
  • Phone – via automated system.
  • Dropbox – located in City Hall circular driveway, no starter checks or cash.
  • In-person – at City Hall, cash, checks (no starter checks), money order, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

Late Payment

If payment is not received by the due date on your bill, the entire amount shall become past due and a Final Notice will be issued.  If you receive a Final Notice, all past due amounts must be received by the Final Notice date or water service is subject to turn-off.  If your water is turned-off for non-payment, you will be required to pay your bill in full plus a turn-on charge of $60 and additional deposit requirements via guaranteed funds before your water can be restored.  A dishonored payment/returned check will result in an additional $25 fee and all future payments must be made with guaranteed funds.
