Capital Improvement Plan

The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is the city’s five‐year blueprint for creating and maintaining the crucial infrastructure that will support the continued growth and development of Avondale. The CIP gives residents and businesses a clear view of the city’s long‐term direction in the area of capital improvements and a better understanding of the city’s ongoing needs for infrastructure improvements. The approved CIP reflects the priorities of City Council and identifies the sources of funds utilized.

PROCUREMENT & CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

The Procurement Office of the Finance and Budget Department is entrusted with ensuring compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures that facilitate competitive, objective and cooperative procurement practices that maximize the City of Avondale's financial resources.

Procurement information is provided for citizens, businesses, city staff and elected officials. All activities of this office are governed by the Avondale Municipal Code, Chapter 25 - Procurement Code which includes the ethical standards and formal procurement procedures authorized by the City Council.
