 **COVID-19 Response**   The following official announcements have been made by the city in regards to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus)   In an effort to minimize the visits to City Hall, please use our online services for paying your water bill

Avondale is following guidance provided by the state Governor’s Executive Orders: Effective Sunday, June 21, 2020 the wearing of face coverings by employees and customers will be required in all city facilities,  retail establishments, convenience stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, gyms, indoor sports or activity facilities, and medical offices. Additionally, these businesses will be required to post notice of these requirements at their entrances. (see more: COVID-19 Response)

The Procurement Office of the Finance and Budget Department is entrusted with ensuring compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures that facilitate competitive, objective and cooperative procurement practices that maximize the City of Avondale's financial resources.

Procurement information is provided for citizens, businesses, city staff and elected officials. All activities of this office are governed by the Avondale Municipal Code, Chapter 25 - Procurement Code which includes the ethical standards and formal procurement procedures authorized by the City Council.

Vendor Notification
All solicitations for goods, equipment and services of $5,000 or greater are posted within this site and also on the City’s e-procurement system - BuyHub. To access BuyHub, registration is required. As a registered vendor, you will receive email notification when the City posts any Bids, RFP’s and RFQ’s for the type of goods and/or services you provide. However, do not rely solely on BuyHub's notices; the City of Avondale highly recommends that you check this website regularly for our current opportunities. Additional information and urgent notices are posted regularly on this website.

The City supports and strongly encourages participation from small, disadvantaged, minority, women owned business enterprises (S/D/M/W/BE) and/or labor area surplus firms in all solicitations. When registering with BuyHub, be sure to complete the Federal Information section if applicable.
