Avondale is following guidance provided by the state Governor’s Executive Orders: Effective Sunday, June 21, 2020 the wearing of face coverings by employees and customers will be required in all city facilities,  retail establishments, convenience stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, gyms, indoor sports or activity facilities, and medical offices. Additionally, these businesses will be required to post notice of these requirements at their entrances. (see more: COVID-19 Response)

Welcome to the City of Avondale’s one-stop shop Online Business Center.

Business Licenses

Any business or individual seeking to transact business within the City of Avondale is required to obtain a Business License prior to transacting business: 

Special Event Permit

A special event permit is required for any events to be held in private or public property that will require one or more city services. The approval process must be initiated 60 days prior to the event. A processing fee will apply as well as fees for services to be provided. Please contact the City Clerk’s Office at 623-333-1000 for additional information.

Peddler’s License

In addition to a business license, any individual or business hiring people to go door to door to promote that individuals cause must obtain a Peddlers/ Solicitors/ Canvassers Permit for each individual. While there is no fee for this license, a fingerprinting fee of $15.00 due to the Police Department for each person being permitted, and a $5.00 (business check or money order) charge for the Department of Public Safety to process individual background information. Liquor Licenses

Chapter 13, Article IV of the Avondale Municipal Code stipulates that any establishment seeking to sell, manufacture or serve alcoholic beverages must obtain a City-issued liquor license.

Anybody interested in obtaining a license must first contact the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control to initiate the process. The Liquor Board will forward the application to the City for further processing. Upon receiving the application from the State, City staff will contact the applicant regarding fees and further processing requirements.

Bids, RFP’s and RFQ’s and Online Vendor Registration

Bids, RFP’s and RFQ’s are posted on the City’s internet based procurement system -BuyHub. Please click below to register as a vendor. As a registered vendor, you will receive email notification when the City posts any Bids, RFP’s and RFQ’s for the type of goods and/or services you provide.
