The City of Avondale invites residents and visitors to lace up their running shoes for the 3rd Annual Hoot ’n’ Hustle 5K, taking place on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

This community-focused event is a partnership between the City of Avondale and Agua Fria High School. The race will kick off at 8 a.m. at Agua Fria High School (530 E. Riley Drive, Avondale, AZ 85323) and will take participants on a route through the heart of Old Town Avondale before returning to the school campus.

Following the race, participants and spectators are invited to enjoy a lively block party featuring community activities and opportunities to connect with neighbors.

The Hoot ’n’ Hustle 5K offers a fun and engaging way for community members of all ages and fitness levels to stay active, build connections, and celebrate Avondale.
