Avondale Public Library Hosts Annual STEAMfest Event
Avondale Public Library will host its annual STEAMfest Family Event, a free, hands-on experience designed to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, artists, programmers, and mathematicians. STEAMfest will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Avondale Civic Center Library (11350 Civic Center Dr., Avondale, AZ 85323).
The event will bring together City of Avondale departments and community partners for an afternoon of interactive learning and discovery. Families can meet exotic animals with Radical Reptile Fun; learn about honeybees and pollinators with Honey Hive Farms; discover how air quality is monitored with Maricopa County Air Quality Department, and explore hands-on activities and displays with the Avondale Police Department.
With more than 20 booths planned throughout the library, STEAMfest will feature engaging demonstrations, experiments, games, and hands-on activities that highlight real-world STEAM concepts in fun and accessible ways.
STEAMfest is open to all ages and free to attend. For more information about STEAMfest and other library programs, visit www.avondalelibrary.org or email emaillibrary@avondaleaz.gov.
