The City of Avondale announces the launch of its Green for Good community sustainability grant program, a funding opportunity for projects that improve Avondale’s environment and benefit the Avondale community.  

Individuals, non-profit organizations, community and educational groups, homeowners’ associations, churches, schools, and businesses are all eligible to apply. The Green for Good Grant will award up to $5,000 to eligible, top-scoring applicants with a total expenditure of $15,000 for the 2026 cycle.

The City of Avondale will host a grant workshop to review the grant guidelines and answer questions from interested participants. This meeting will be hosted via Zoom (Register HERE) on March 11, 2026 at 6pm.
