Avondale to Host Capes & Connections: A Family Resource Fair, February 21
Avondale’s Neighborhood & Family Services Department will hold the annual Capes & Connections: A Family Resource Fair, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the AZ Complete Health Avondale Resource Center, located at 995 E. Riley Drive, Avondale.
This free, family-friendly event is open to the public and offers a one-stop opportunity to discover the many human services and support programs available through the Avondale Resource Center. Attendees can explore resources related to housing, utility and rental assistance, senior services, social programs, early childhood development, nutrition, and health.
Event Highlights:
- Community Resource Access: Connect with organizations like Sounds of Autism, WIC, HFIN, CAP, AFERP, Duet, and the Maricopa County Department of Public Health.
- Health & Wellness Support: Learn about AHCCCS, SNAP (food stamps), nutrition education, and other wellness programs.
- Fun for the Whole Family: Enjoy a lively Kids Zone featuring beloved characters, face painting, inflatable obstacle courses, DJ entertainment, performances, presentations, and food.
