Avondale’s Creepin’ Candy Crawl: Fun and Frights For Everyone 

Celebrate Halloween early at the annual Creepin’ Candy Crawl! Hosted by the Avondale Parks, Recreation and Libraries Department and presented by Avondale Toyota, this family-friendly trick-or-treat experience is on Thursday, October 30, from 5–8:00 p.m. at Alamar Park (4155 S. El Mirage Rd, Avondale, AZ 85323). 

Step into the spooky spirit with exhibitors and City of Avondale departments handing out candy and treats to attendees. The trick-or-treating experience will feature more than 20 themed booths and your family will help us decide who earns the title of “Best in Boo-th!” 

This family-friendly event also includes free spooky crafts, face painting, a costume contest, and DJ entertainment. Enjoy a variety of food trucks available for purchase on-site from Paloma Mexican Street Food, Cuties Lemonade and More, Elotes Frutas Raspados, and Dog Father Gourmet Hot Dogs. 

The costume contest is open to both children and adults with sign-ups available on the day of the event. Trophies will be awarded to first, second, and third place in each category. 

Attendees are encouraged to walk from nearby neighborhoods, carpool, or use the designated overflow parking areas at Lakin Elementary and across the street on Alamar Road.
