Lane restrictions will be in place on eastbound McDowell Road between 117th Avenue and Avondale Boulevard beginning Monday, Oct. 13, through Friday, Dec. 15.

The restrictions are due to roadway improvements associated with a development project at the southwest corner of McDowell Road and Avondale Boulevard. The work will include road widening, new curb, gutter and sidewalk installation, and asphalt paving.

Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes when feasible as delays may be possible during this time. Motorists traveling through the construction zone are urged to slow down and follow all posted signs and instructions to ensure safety for all.
