From bluegrass to folk and county, the Tres Rios Nature Festival, presented by Avondale Toyota, will thrill music lovers alike with the sounds of home grown Arizona music and dance groups. This year’s event, which runs on February 29 and March 1 in Avondale, features headliner group Cisco & The Racecars.

Cisco & The Racecars has quickly become a premier Arizona bluegrass-and-more band. Band leader Francisco (Cisco) Briseno has gathered a brilliant blend of instruments including his talents on banjo, guitarist Mark Hickler, fiddler Giselle Lee, Chester Carmer on mandolin, bassist Joelle Tambe-Ebot, and Katie Buetow Carmer on cello.   Most of the members are vocalists as well. Although rooted in Arizona, they have had opportunities to perform globally, twice in Ukraine, and have competed and won individual and band contest honors all around the state. Come and experience this talented, likeable, highly entertaining band on the banks of the Tres Rios, at a special sunset feature concert, Saturday, February 29, 5 – 6:30 p.m.

A variety of musical performance will take place on stage both Saturday & Sunday, and include a diverse set of professional performing groups. For more details on each performing band, visit the website .
