 **COVID-19 Response**   The following official announcements have been made by the city in regards to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus)   In an effort to minimize the visits to City Hall, please use our online services for paying your water bill  https://ubill.avondale.org/

Avondale is following guidance provided by the state Governor’s Executive Orders: https://azgovernor.gov/executive-orders. Effective Sunday, June 21, 2020 the wearing of face coverings by employees and customers will be required in all city facilities,  retail establishments, convenience stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, gyms, indoor sports or activity facilities, and medical offices. Additionally, these businesses will be required to post notice of these requirements at their entrances. (see more: COVID-19 Response)

Avondale Thanksgiving Holiday Closures

In observance of Thanksgiving, City of Avondale offices, libraries and community centers will be closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2019. 

 

Transit services for the ZOOM Circulator will be in service on Thursday, November 28, but will run on a Sunday service schedule, 6 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

 

The Public Works Department will follow the holiday trash and recycling pick up schedule. There will be no trash and recycling collections on Thursday, November 28. Trash service will take place one day later.  If your trash or recycling pickup normally takes place on Friday, please note that your container will be picked up on Saturday. Containers must be placed at curbside no later than 5 a.m. on the day of collection. For more information on refuse/recycling collection, please call Public Works at (623) 333-4400.
