 **COVID-19 Response**   The following official announcements have been made by the city in regards to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus)   In an effort to minimize the visits to City Hall, please use our online services for paying your water bill  https://ubill.avondale.org/

Avondale is following guidance provided by the state Governor’s Executive Orders: https://azgovernor.gov/executive-orders. Effective Sunday, June 21, 2020 the wearing of face coverings by employees and customers will be required in all city facilities,  retail establishments, convenience stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, gyms, indoor sports or activity facilities, and medical offices. Additionally, these businesses will be required to post notice of these requirements at their entrances. (see more: COVID-19 Response)

Avondale hosts free Document Shredding Event at City Hall

Do you have old bills, medical records, tax paperwork, bank statements, and other documents containing personal identifying information pilling up? Safely discard your unwanted personal paperwork at City Hall on Thursday, November 14 from 8 to 11 a.m.

A $1.00 per box charitable donation is being requested for each box brought in (banker size) of personal documents that will be shredded off-site. The charitable donations will benefit the local services of the Valley of the Sun United Way, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Anyone can participate. Document shredding is provided in partnership with Access Information Protected.
