Avondale Offers Free Fall Landscape Classes To Help Use Water Wisely

The City of Avondale is offering free classes to the public on how to conserve water within their landscaping. On average, Arizonans use as much as two-thirds of their water outdoors. When plants and landscaping are watered too much and too frequently, much of this water ends up being wasted, leading to high water bills and plants that actually die from over watering.
Learn how to create a healthy, vibrant landscape without the water waste by attending a class hosted at Avondale City Hall, 11465 W. Civic Center Drive, Avondale AZ 85323. Class days and times vary. You can register for these FREE classes by calling (623) 333-4400 or by email at eavila@avondaleaz.gov . More details available online at www.avondaleaz.gov/water .
