 **COVID-19 Response**   The following official announcements have been made by the city in regards to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus)   In an effort to minimize the visits to City Hall, please use our online services for paying your water bill  https://ubill.avondale.org/

Avondale is following guidance provided by the state Governor’s Executive Orders: https://azgovernor.gov/executive-orders. Effective Sunday, June 21, 2020 the wearing of face coverings by employees and customers will be required in all city facilities,  retail establishments, convenience stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, gyms, indoor sports or activity facilities, and medical offices. Additionally, these businesses will be required to post notice of these requirements at their entrances. (see more: COVID-19 Response)

Avondale Streets Preservation Treatment for Garden Park, Garden Lakes and Upland Park

Contractor crews working for the city of Avondale will be applying a preservation treatment to roads in three residential areas in Avondale on Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28.

Avondale Streets Preservation Treatment for Garden Park, Garden Lakes and Upland Park to occur June 27-28

Contractor crews working for the city of Avondale will be applying a preservation treatment to roads in three residential areas in Avondale on Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28, 2019.

Crews will be performing the work between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

The roads scheduled to receive treatment are located in:

  • Garden Park at the west end of Virginia Avenue. 
  • Garden Lakes at 111th Drive. 
  • Upland Park at 107th Drive and Virginia and Cambridge Avenues.

Every effort will be made to provide traffic control that minimizes interruptions to normal traffic flows.  Notifications have been provided to HOAs and to residents via door hangers.
