Do Business with Avondale; New Vendor Registry

The City of Avondale is rolling out a new online vendor registration system to help better serve our potential and current vendors, as well as notifying them when opportunities exist to do business with Avondale. The system allows businesses to self-register via the city’s website, providing contact information, current W-9 information, and updated details as to the products and services they provide. This will enable the City of Avondale to notify interested vendors of important bid opportunities.

The City of Avondale is continually seeking vendors, suppliers, and contractors who can provide quality products and services at competitive prices. The City contracts for and purchases a wide variety of supplies, services, equipment, and consultant services in order to provide our community a full range of municipal services and programs. In order to do business with the City of Avondale, vendors must first register with the Finance Department through our vendor registration system. Registering also allows businesses to identify the type of goods and services they provide so that they may receive email notifications regarding relevant solicitations out for bid.

Formal bids for the City of Avondale will continue to be advertised in the Arizona Republic’s general circulation and Southwest Valley editions and are posted online at www.avondaleaz.gov/procurement.

Prospective businesses as well as former and current vendors are all required to self-register into the new vendor registry system prior to providing information about services.  Register today at www.avondaleaz.gov/dobusiness . For questions, call the City Procurement staff at 623-333-2033.
