 **COVID-19 Response**   The following official announcements have been made by the city in regards to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus)   In an effort to minimize the visits to City Hall, please use our online services for paying your water bill  https://ubill.avondale.org/

Avondale is following guidance provided by the state Governor’s Executive Orders: https://azgovernor.gov/executive-orders. Effective Sunday, June 21, 2020 the wearing of face coverings by employees and customers will be required in all city facilities,  retail establishments, convenience stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, gyms, indoor sports or activity facilities, and medical offices. Additionally, these businesses will be required to post notice of these requirements at their entrances. (see more: COVID-19 Response)

Black History Month Community Celebration

Celebrate Black History Month!

  • Introduction: EMCC Black History Month Community Celebration with a special dedication to the late Kobe Bryant.

""In celebration of Black History Month, Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) presents cultural and community events that celebrate the achievements of Black Americans and the importance of civil rights in America.

 

The Southwest Black History Community Celebration is a family-friendly community event will highlight Black history, culture, and heritage in the Southwest Valley and feature food, crafts, vendor booths, and performances.

EMCC will be hosting Black History Month events throughout the month of February that feature learning, cultural experiences, film, art, and food. For the full calendar of events, visit our Events Calendar.
