Youth Services

Youth Services staff work collaboratively with a variety of community partners to helping youth aspire and achieve success now and in the future. We accomplish this by working to generate structured programs, caring adult mentors, and safe environments that assist youth in achieving their full potential as caring and productive citizens.  Our core services include workforce development, leadership, civic engagement, academic enrichment, service learning and volunteerism. At heart of all of our youth services is the Kids at Hope cultural framework. Because we believe that all children and youth are capable of success, no exceptions!

Community Engagement

We work with hand in hand with community stakeholders to create solutions for a brighter future though meaningful community partnerships and engagement.  Though a partnership with the Corporation for National & Community Service and AmeriCorps VISTA our staff and VISTA Members are working to implement a community-wide strategy to develop a comprehensive volunteer program and lay the groundwork for collective impact.  Our VISTA Members are recruiting volunteers to support schools; Encourage parents to engage in their children's education; harness volunteers to improve the housing of low-income residents; connect low-income residents to technology and educational resources through the libraries; support the volunteer needs of non-profit organizations that serve the low-income community; Educate vulnerable populations on consumer scams, predatory lending and other crime prevention topics.
