Fix a Leak 2017

Sponsored by EPA’s WaterSense® program, "Fix a Leak Week" is March 20 through 26, 2017. In support of We’re for Water, Avondale is promoting finding and fixing residential leaks. Leaks can account for more than 10,000 gallons of water in an average home every year—that is equal to the amount of water it takes to wash 270 loads of laundry! To help save water for future generations, Avondale is asking consumers to Check, Twist, and Replace:

  • Check for leaks
  • Twist and tighten hose and pipe connections
  • Replace fixtures, if necessary

For more tips on how to check, twist and replace or to find WaterSense labeled products visit:  www.epa.gov/watersense.  To find and fix leaks that are draining your budget or request a Smart Home Water Guide visit: www.smarthomewaterguide.com.
